The second semester is well underway marking the halfway point of this school year. There are many activities and events planned and no sign of slowing down until summer vacation.
Our brief wave of cooler weather has been so enjoyable. I love a brisk morning to get me going! Today is Thursday so I had the added blessing of hearing a pastor from Kenya speak to our secondary students in chapel. He encouraged us to consider the importance, responsibility, and blessing of personal prayer.
It is mid-September which is the halfway point of the first quarter and I am thankful that all appears to be going smoothly. God has certainly given us a great group of students who are, for the most part, eager to learn and grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Please be sure to pray for our faculty and staff as they are such an important part of your child’s day here at ACS.
We are praising God for another great year at ACS. On May 31, we graduated 21 seniors who will be going off to 13 different colleges (Stetson, UCF, Florida Christian, Southeastern, Seminole State, Andrews, Valencia, Southern Adventist, Baptist Bible College, University of North Florida, Liberty, Mid-Florida Tech and Bryan) with various career paths to follow.
